The Camelbak Forge cap is a great example of our advanced surfacing skills. “What you see is what you get” is a phrase never truer than looking at a CAD model for surface imperfections. If you can see it while spinning your model around the graphic light source and with your model bumped up to the highest resolution, you will undoubtedly see it in the tooled part. Creating complex surfaces like these with the necessary parting lines and drafts is painstaking but necessary. We pride ourselves on our ability to create surfaces true to the designer’s intent while incorporating the necessary molding details to make the parts manufacturable.
